Shantir Boi serves the local community through books – for buying, borrowing, reading, and discussing. We have many books in English, Sylheti, and Bengali for sale, along with books in other languages for borrowing. We have books on Christianity and Islam, history and biography, health and nature, learning English, and classic poetry and novels from both the East and West.

A few years ago we hosted an event with local author Tharik Hussain on his book Minarets in the Mountains. We’re delighted to host him again with his latest book Muslim Europe. Please come along to join in the discussion.
